In 2009, I stepped behind the chair in a small Kansas City salon, buzzing with excitement as I worked on my very first client. It was there that I fell in love with the transformative power of the beauty industry and the connections it fosters. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to stay booked and busy in salons across Kansas, Georgia, and Oklahoma, doing cuts, colors, and everything in between while building meaningful relationships with my clients every step of the way.
I discovered my passion for bridal styling after an unforgettable morning prepping a bride and her bridal party in a charming countryside venue. The laughter, happy tears, and the bride’s radiant smile as she saw her finished look made me realize how deeply fulfilling it is to be part of such a significant moment. I’d always loved doing updos in the salon, but something about being immersed in the wedding day happenings while I primped brides and their parties captured my heart. There’s something incredibly special about the energy in a room filled with love, anticipation, and joy as a bride prepares to walk down the aisle. It fuels my creativity and inspires me to craft styles that reflect the emotions of the day—timeless, radiant, and uniquely personal to each bride. It’s infectious, and as a self-proclaimed softy, I fell head over heels for the opportunity to create beauty and connection in those moments. Those early experiences in the wedding industry opened my eyes to the magic of being part of someone’s most cherished day.
That passion inspired me to dedicate my craft 100% to making brides feel their absolute best while making the experience memorable and fun. I bring a calming, cheerful presence to every wedding morning, ensuring everyone feels relaxed and celebrated. Tidbits About Me ~
Born in Southern California, I moved to small town KS at 10yrs old and definitely grew up to have the characteristics of a true Midwesterner.
Had a recent 2-year stint in Savannah, GA, and then another 2 in Tulsa, leading me back “home” to the Kansas City area with my two best guys, my wonderful partner David and my sweet baby Porter, the handsomest 3-year-old chocolate lab there ever was. We just added a little gal to the fam, a little yellow sister for Porter, named Barley.
In my spare time I like to read fantasy novels, bake, paint, road trip, be the best sister and Auntie to my 2 sisters, 2 nieces and 5 nephews, and any new form of art or craft I can be obsessed with for a time (don’t look in my spare closet).
I love the mountains, nature, animals, coffee, any and all forms of art, and all things cute and cozy.
I won a coloring contest at the Circus in the 4th grade and was awarded a free camel ride I was too scared to take.
I love people and can keep company with just about anyone. I have a positive and fairly calm demeanor but I’m also very easily excitable.
I took a color analysis and apparently, I’m a Soft Autumn.
